Nigeria's U-20 girls, the Falconets were named champions of the U-20 WAFU-B Girls Cup in Benin, after defeating the Black Princesses of Ghana by two goals to nil.
The girls continued their perfect run at the competition, after defeating Ghana on Matchday 1, by three goals to one, and breezing past Benin [3-0] on Matchday 2.
What looked to be a revenge mission for Ghana failed, as the Falconets were too hot to handle.
Just 17 minutes in, Janet Akekoromowei put the Falconets in front.

The young striker fired a brilliant long range freekick past Ghanaian goalkeeper Aishetu Awinimi, making it three goals in three games in the competition.
Alaba Olabiyi made it two just six minutes later with a well placed header from a ball into the box from Kareem Ramotalahi.
The Falconets continued to push hard for more goals, but the Black Princesses did well to hold on.
The Nigerian U-20 girls were however still determined to add to their tally.
Janet Akekoromowei went on a blistering run down the left flank before lifting a left footed cross into the box for Kareem Ramotalahi to have a bite at the cherry, and grab Nigeria's third of the game.
Ghana tried to pull one back in the 63rd minute, as Sarah Nyarko went on a fine run into the box, but her shot was wide off the mark.
The Falconets hence held on to their three nil advantage to seal the win.
This wins now means the Falconets are the champions of the 2025 WAFU-B U-20 Girls Cup, with one game to spare.
Sweet revenge against Ghana who beat them to the title in 2023.
