Flamingoes head coach, Bankole Olowookere, has unveiled a 30-player provisional squad to begin camping in Abuja ahead of the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which kicks off on October 17.
The squad is without some notable names, including Harmony Chidi and Peace Effiong, who are currently sidelined with injuries. Also missing are Janet Akekoromowei, expected to progress to the Falconets, and Aishat Animashaun.
Players are expected to report to camp within the next three days as preparations intensify for the global tournament.
