Civil Engineering vs Mathematics
CVE have looked sharp all tournament. They finished Group A unbeaten and showed their balance across the pitch. With names like Huncho and JAGO stepping up when it mattered, they’ll fancy their chances.
But here comes Mathematics—arguably the surprise of the round. Written off after Matchday 1, they turned things around with a clutch win against QTS to sneak into second place in Group B. They'll need more than numbers to survive this one.
Edge: CVE, but Maths have shown they can grind.
Computer Science vs Philosophy
CSC have looked the part. Clean, direct, and effective. Joseph, Taiwo, and the gang have been ticking the right boxes. Three games, two wins, and top of Group B—no fluke.
Philosophy, on the other hand, have been steady. Solid defensively, but questions remain about their attack. They edged Public Admin, drew MCB and CVE… and now face their toughest test.
Edge: CSC, but don’t rule out Philosophy slowing the game down and springing a surprise.
Business Administration vs ASE
This one has spicy written all over it.
BUS came back from an opening day loss with serious intent—thumping ESM and Physics in back-to-back games. Four goals against Estate? That says a lot about their hunger.
ASE, meanwhile, haven’t lost. A win and two draws, including a solid showing against Biochem and a goalless draw with Geology. Their calmness under pressure might serve them well here.
Edge: Toss-up. BUS are in form, but ASE have the composure.
Accounting vs Elect/Elect
What a clash!
Accounting topped Group D and have done just enough to stay afloat so far. But this is where they’ll need to shift gears.
Elect/Elect looked untouchable after two games—until Physics showed up with a shock 3-0 win. Was that a blip or a deeper problem?
Edge: Very tight. If EEE’s confidence isn't shaken, they might edge it. If not, the defending champs might find a way.
