Fayzal lights it up as Computer run riot in JOT League

Collegiate-SportsOAU

The JOT League returned on April 5th bringing goals, dominance, and a glimpse of rising stars as Computer Science, Animal Science, and Physics secured key wins in convincing fashion. Here's how things went down:

Computer Science 4-0 Building

Computer Science wasted no time making a statement, putting four past Building in a one-sided affair. Fayzal opened the scoring in the 3rd minute from the spot and followed up with a brace, adding another in the 24th minute and capping off his hat-trick in the 56th minute thanks to a neat assist from Dan. Oseh also joined the party, slotting in the third goal in the 28th minute after being teed up by Oladosu.

CSC enjoyed 60% possession and nine total shots, five of them on target. Building, meanwhile, failed to register a single shot on target in a performance to forget.

Mathematics 0-1 Physics

Physics edged Mathematics in a tight contest defined by one moment of brilliance. Pelumi scored the lone goal in the 42nd minute, capitalizing on a slick assist from Mosetijesu. While Mathematics saw more red than reward — picking up a red card and managing only one shot on target — Physics controlled possession (55%) and registered nine shots, including five on target.

Animal Science 2-0 Religious Studies

It was a confident showing by Animal Science, who cruised past Religious Studies with goals in both halves. Fiyin broke the deadlock in the 28th minute with a composed finish following a pass from Deji, before Hameed sealed the result in the 74th minute, converting after an assist from Amaya.

Despite having fewer corner kicks, Animal Science was sharper in attack with three shots on target and no defensive saves needed — a testament to their control throughout the game.

Plenty of talking points from this round, but none louder than Fayzal’s standout performance and Computer Science’s flawless display. With a form like this, CSC is already making themselves the team to beat.
