The third matchday of the CAF Women’s Champions League (CAF WCL) 2025 delivered high-quality football and dominant performances, as FC Masar of Egypt and defending champions ASFAR of Morocco claimed emphatic victories to strengthen their positions in the group stage.

Group A: ASFAR 2–0 USFAS (Mali)

Group A: FC Masar 5–0 15 de Agosto (Angola)

FC Masar of Egypt delivered a statement performance on Tuesday, asserting their dominance with a 5–0 rout of Angolan side 15 de Agosto. The win not only showcased their attacking prowess but also placed them at the top of Group A, putting them in a strong position ahead of their final group match against USFAS on Saturday.

The scoring opened in the 41st minute, when Yasmine Zizo broke the deadlock, setting the tone for a one-sided encounter. Masar controlled the second half from start to finish:

  • ⚽ 72’ – Hasnath Ubamba made it 3–0, extending Masar’s dominance.
