CAF Women’s Champions League 2025: Tournament Kicks Off 8–21 November — Full Fixtures, Groups, and Storylines to Watch
The 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League officially kicks off tomorrow, 8 November, running through 21 November, and Africa’s top women’s clubs have already arrived in Egypt for what promises to be the most exciting edition yet.
This year’s tournament features eight teams split across two highly competitive groups, with debutants, former champions, and returning giants all vying for the continent’s biggest club prize.
Notably, prize money has received a significant boost. In line with CAF’s earlier announcement of a 52% increase, the champions will earn USD 600,000, while the runners-up will take home USD 400,000 — the highest purse in the competition’s history.
Tournament Opener (8 November)
The competition begins with a Group A showdown between 2024 bronze-medallists FC Masar (Egypt) and 2022 champions AS FAR (Morocco) at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia.
Later that evening, two debutants,15 de Agosto (Equatorial Guinea) and US FAS Bamako (Mali), take to the pitch for their first-ever appearance in the CAFWCL. Their clash promises suspense and a chance to see fresh talent on the continental stage.

Defending champions TP Mazembe (DR Congo) begin their title defence on 9 November against ASEC Mimosas (Côte d’Ivoire).
They are joined in Group B by Gaborone United (Botswana) and JKT Queens (Tanzania), both determined to test the holders.
