CAFWCL 2025: Group B Lights Up as TP Mazembe and JKT Queens Impress

It was another exciting night of football in Group B of the CAF Women’s Champions League Egypt 2025, with drama, goals, and standout performances across both fixtures.

TP Mazembe continued their fine form, cruising to a 3–0 win over Gaborone United.
From the first whistle, Marlene Yav was electric, dominating the midfield, converting from the spot, and sealing her status as Woman of the Match.
Her teammate Obono added the icing on the cake with a brilliant curling finish for Mazembe’s third.

In the second fixture, JKT Queens and ASEC Mimosas played out a tense 1–1 draw, packed with late drama.
Maseke’s first-half brilliance gave JKT Queens the edge before Gnounoue calmly equalised from the penalty spot in the dying minutes to rescue a point for ASEC.

Both teams will now look to build on these results as the group stage battle heats up.
