When the sun rose on the day of the Supremacy Cup final, few gave Mathematics a real chance. The whispers called it a mismatch— a tale of David against Goliath. But as the contest simmered and the crowd settled, it was the underdogs who stood tallest. This wasn’t just a final. It was a lesson in patience, planning, and perfect timing.

Computer Science came flying out of the gates, hungry, urgent, and looking every bit the favorites they were billed to be. When Tofunmi danced into the box and drew a foul, it seemed like a script was being followed. A penalty ws awarded and Computer finally had the chance to go ahead. Their captain, Engineer, stepped up, ice-cold as usual but fate had a twist in store. Ojhay, the Mathematics shot stopper, guessed right, dived fast, and kept his department's dream alive. It was more than a save—it was a statement.

Mathematics soaked up pressure like seasoned generals. Their legs did the running and their minds did the reading. They gave no space, no time, or no rhythm to a CSC side known for controlling tempo. But how do you topple a Computer side that's not used to defeat and is so impenetrable, they can't even concede a goal? You introduce a Stunner!

Mathematics coach understood this and then came the changes—Gaius off, Stunner in. Subomi off, Emmanuel in. With these two variables introduced into the supremacy equation, Caleb moved to the middle, and suddenly the numbers added up and the equations started canceling out as we approached a final answer. Not long after, a rebound fell kindly, and Stunner—calm, poised, precise—dropped the ball at the back post for Emmanuel, who was also fresh and fearless, to nod it in. Computer blinked as the scoreline changed and a thunderous, joyous roar swarmed the mainbowl. It was pure bedlam!

The game continued with Computer trusting they had all it took to turn the game around—cause they really did. However, as Computer chased shadows, Mathematics saw space. In the heat of the battle, Valentino sliced through defenders like a poet through silence. And there was Stunner again—at the right place, at the right time, tapping into an open net. Game. Set. Supremacy.

When the final whistle blew, it wasn’t just a match that ended—it was an end to a brewing reign that never really endured. Computer who were always dominant, looked dazed. They have been stunned from the bench. Mathematics stood unshaken, arms aloft, champions not by chance but by craft. They have walked into Computer's mansion and turned over the furniture!

Stunner, silent until the final, chose the biggest day to leave his mark. A goal and an assist to his name on the biggest stage for departmental football sealed the final and earned him the player of the match award.

Supremacy, this time, wears the robe of logic and patience. Mathematics are Kings—not just of the classroom, but also of the campus turf.

All Hail Mathematics The King !!
